You never know who you'll bump into on your next shift! 😂👷
Talk about a throwback!

Three years ago, Fernando was one of the first ARC Staff crew members booked to work with one of our clients.

This week, he was back on site and recognised a familiar face. Naturally, there was a bit of a laugh about the old days!
It's moments like these that remind us why we love what we do.
Good people. Strong working relationships. And a crew that keeps coming back. 💚

Whether you've worked with ARC Staff before or you're looking for your first opportunity, there's always room for reliable people on our crew.

Safe work is for life 💛 This National Safe Work Month, protect your health and your team with 5 summer safety tips for Australian workers.

We want you to home safe after every shift. Heat, UV, bushfire smoke, strong winds and flash floods can turn a normal shift into a risky one, whether you’re in a Melbourne warehouse, on a Sydney event site or out on a Queensland farm.

💧 Sip water all shift. Safe Work Australia says thirst isn’t a reliable guide.
🧢 Protect your skin with a broad-brim hat, sunscreen and sunnies when the UV index hits 3 or above, even on mild days.
🌬️ On windy days, tie down signs, tools and temporary structures so they can’t hurt anyone.
🌊 Never drive, walk or ride through floodwater on your way to work.
👀 Look out for your workmates. Dizziness, headache, nausea or cramps are early signs of heat stress.

Someone confused, with hot dry skin, or collapsed? That’s heat stroke. Call 000.
Worried about conditions on site? Call your ARC consultant. We’re here to help.

Not every workplace risk is visible. 💚

A worker might show up on time, get the job done and have a laugh with their workmates, all while dealing with something difficult behind the scenes.

Stress, exhaustion, personal challenges or unexpected bad news don't always show on the outside.

This World Mental Health Day, we're encouraging employers, supervisors and team leaders to check in with their people.

✅ Make time for genuine conversations.
✅ Pay attention to signs of fatigue or distress.
✅ Create a workplace where people feel comfortable speaking up.
✅ Take concerns seriously and follow up when support is needed.

Looking after your team's mental health is an important part of workplace health and safety.
We'd also like to remind our clients that ARC Staff workers have access to our free Employee Assistance Program (EAP), delivered by Acacia.

The service is confidential and independent of ARC Staff. Workers can speak directly with a counsellor without sharing their personal conversations with us or their host employer.

💚 24/7 phone support
💚 No referral required
💚 Free for ARC Staff workers

If you have ARC Staff workers on your site, please help us make sure they're aware of the support available to them.
