We are looking for a few strategically located staff to join our football gatekeeping team!

Do you know anyone that’s keen for 7 - 8 hours work on most Saturdays through April till September?

We will provide all training all we seek is reliable, trustworthy customer service focussed staff commited to providing Ticketseller and gate keeping services at local footy clubs.

It is with pleasure that I announce that we have arrived at the time of year where we will be commencing our Football Finals staff recruitment sessions.

Any interested applicants are encouraged to apply by forwarding a summary of skills and a brief cover letter by email to [email protected]

We cover football finals at a range of venues including Gippsland, Latrobe Valley, West Gippsalnd, Mornington Peninsula, South Eastern Suburbs, Yarra Valley, Sunbury and Ballarat Zones.

On the job training is provided for all staff, while those that would be more comfortable having completed a 2 hour training session will also be given the opportunity to be paired with one of our very experienced existing Home and Away Sellers, who work at a range of venues each week servicing 30 or so clubs in our existing client base.

In order to be an effective seller the following skills are required.
- Clear communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure as there’s quite often lines of customers we are dealing with
- The ability to follow policy and make a quick decision to ensure that those people that should pay do, and that all patrons attending an event are recorded and provided with an entry ticket.
- Cash handling skills are an advantage, however these days 80% or so of our transactions are by EFT using our square terminals.
- Have access to a phone with mobile data and a good battery stability – as all terminals are linked to your phones.
- Be reliable, well presented and a team player.
- Be happy to work in with the travel arrangements including driving now and then with other staff.

Most of our finals shifts are around the 8 hour range. Generally, we’d be leaving Moe at around 6am during this time and you’d expect to be getting back home at around 6pm.

A busy day on a footy and netball gate is rewarding and enjoyable, and while you have the occasional challenge all in all most customers are great to deal with, especially now that so many clubs utilise our services and know that we run a strict ticket or pay service that they are familiar with.

It’s the time of year again where we are taking bookings for Airport transfers for Football and Netball Clubs across the Latrobe Valley.

As in the past we have two buses available for your airport transfers, able to collect you at your Club and deliver you to the Airport at whatever time you need to make your flights.

Our bigger bus has the ability to transport 39 passengers in air conditioned comfort with seat belts fitted and luggage storage under the bus, while the smaller bus accommodates 11 passengers. BYO alcohol is permitted on both however we’d appreciate if the bins provided could be utilised.

Cost of the return service is $120 per person for under 25 passengers and $90 per person for 26 – 39 passengers.

Bookings obviously on a first come first served basis, so book now to avoid disappointment!

We are still chasing over 30 new football gate staff for the finals series in August and September and of course we’d also love to find some more Raceday and hospitality staff as our opportunities continue to grow as Spring Racing will soon be upon us!

Thanks for liking the page recently! I’ve not really pushed it in the past but this year with COVID now not restricting business I need to get a bit more active in recruiting some fantastic new team members to help support our incredible bunch, many that will be reaching 10 and 15 year service levels this year! Keep an eye out for their flash new name badges to recognise their contribution.

In reality after 15 years operation we would not be where we are today without the sensational commitment from many staff, with over 1700 people having come through our doors over this time… many that have stayed and some with kids now following in the footsteps of their parents who were valued TSS employees. Dunno how many years off hand Anne (pictured below) has on the clock but it’s over 10 and we’d all be lost without her….

We work… but we do have lots and lots of fun doing it!

Newspaper ads don’t do much these days while others best staff always seem to be friends and family of our current or past employees or friends of friends etc - I’ve got some sensational Facebook friends so I thought it was time to poach a few of your very valued contracts so a like and a share is gold!

We are now recruiting football ticket sellers for the finals series around the Gippsland, the Yarra Valley, South East suburbs and Mornington peninsula.

People aged 17 and above encouraged to apply regardless of experience.

Most shifts over 7 hours or a Sat and Sun and pay rate is over $32 per hour. Shared travel arranged.

On the job support provided all new staff must perform one day at a football gate shadowing other sellers before first shift on a no pay training basis to get up to speed with the requirements of the role.

Customer service focussed staff that are reliable, work well as part of a team and the ability to implement team policies in terms of how we operate gates are encouraged to apply.
