๐๏ธ Reflecting on National Road Safety Week 2026, we want to thank everyone across the country who helped make this important initiative such a success.
As a Principal Partner of National Road Safety Week, Altus teams came together nationwide to champion the message: Drive So Others Survive. Throughout the week, our people participated in events, community engagement activities, road safety conversations, workplace initiatives, and awareness campaigns designed to encourage safer behaviours on our roads.
From attending the official launch at Queensland Parliament, to partnering with community organisations, sporting clubs, customers, schools and families, we were reminded that road safety is a shared responsibility and that every decision behind the wheel matters.
We were especially proud to see the enthusiasm for our Road Safety Colouring Competition, helping young Australians learn valuable road safety lessons through creativity and conversation.
The statistics remain confronting, with more than 1,300 lives lost and over 40,000 people seriously injured on Australian roads each year. Behind every number is a person, a family, and a community forever changed.
While National Road Safety Week 2026 may be over, the message continues. We will continue working with our customers, communities and industry partners to raise awareness, encourage safer choices and support safer roads for all.
Thank you to everyone who took the pledge, shared the message, participated in an event, or simply took a moment to reflect on how we can all do our part to make our roads safer. ๐
