💛 This R U OK Day, we were reminded that the best thing any of us can do for a mate is ask the question and mean it. Across every state, our Altus Traffic crews work different jobs, different hours and different sites, but the day was a reminder that we're one team looking out for each other.

Over in WA, the team marked the day by downing tools for a bit and firing up the BBQ at the depot, bringing everyone together over a feed and a proper chat. It was a small thing, but it was exactly the kind of moment that builds a culture where people feel comfortable checking in on each other, not just on R U OK Day but every day. 💬

🎆 Riverfire lit up the sky to kick off Brisbane Festival 2026 in spectacular style. 🌉 Almost half a million people packed into Brisbane's inner city for the show, with roads and bridges closing to keep the crowds moving safely. 🚧 👷🏻‍♀️

Behind the scenes, Altus Traffic's Events Team QLD worked with Brisbane City Council and event organisers to manage multiple road closures and pedestrian access across the precinct, so the biggest decision for the night was picking the best spot to watch. 🎉

🏈 SEN Radio and Dan Murphy's brought Melbourne's NFL buildup to Ringwood recently, with Ben Graham and Cam Luke hosting an NFL Tailgate Party at Dan Murphy's Ringwood ahead of the historic NFL Melbourne game at the MCG.

🚧 Altus Traffic's Events Team VIC managed parking, pedestrian movement and livesite flow around the venue, keeping the crowd moving safely as the countdown to game day builds. 🎉

🚗✨ Father's Day was in full swing at the Showcars Father's Day Car Show Melbourne, transforming St Kilda's Acland Street into a showcase of automotive history, with more than 350 vehicles on display and thousands of visitors enjoying the day. Families, car enthusiasts and members of the local community turned out in force to soak up the atmosphere and celebrate Father's Day together.

The Altus Traffic Events Team VIC was proud to support event organisers by managing road closures across the precinct and coordinating safe vehicle bump-in and bump-out operations, helping create a safe environment for exhibitors, visitors and the many families attending throughout the day. 🚦🙌

A fantastic day and another successful event delivered. 👏

🎊Brisbane Festival 2026 is underway, and it took a serious bump-in effort to get the city's stages ready. Across theatres, venues, parks, streets and even rooftops, festival crews have transformed everyday spaces for 750 performance with almost 2,000 artists over 23 days.

Altus Traffic's Events Team QLD worked alongside Brisbane Festival organisers throughout the bump-in and setup, managing traffic and access to venues across the precinct so equipment and crews could move in safely without putting the public at risk. 🚧 👷‍♂️👷‍♀️

It's the work that happens well before the lights go up, but it's what makes an opening weekend like this one possible. And what an opening it was, with an estimated 500,000+ people turning out for the Riverfire spectacular that kicked off the 2026 festival on the Brisbane River. 🎆 🌉 ✨
