Today, we’re recognising R U OK? day by sending the TS team out for a morning wellness walk this morning (and even a cold dip), with coffee and croissants on us, of course! ☕🥐

It’s an important reminder to pause, check in with the people around us and start conversations that can sometimes feel difficult.

You don’t need to be an expert to make a difference. Sometimes, simply asking “Are you OK?” and genuinely listening is the perfect place to start. 💛

Wave hello to our new logo & branding (it waves back!) 👋

We’re VERY excited to reveal TwoScots’ brand new look, created with the help of the amazing Overport Agency, who captured the feel of our business perfectly.

Following the launch of our newest division, TwoScots HR, last month, we wanted to give each of our specialist divisions its own distinct identity. Each now has a little extra spice through its own colour palette, while still feeling connected to our signature blues and off-white.

We’ve also introduced plenty of fun new illustrations, many with a Scottish twist, keeping us connected to our roots! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

A huge thank you to everyone who has been with us through every era of the TwoScots brand. Sweet sixteen is shaping up to be our best yet! 💙

Meet Shaun Bowtle!

Last week, we welcomed Shaun to TwoScots, joining our Qualified Accounting team 👋

Shaun started his recruitment journey in London in 2019, spending five years specialising in Investment Management before making the move to recruiting internally within Financial Services

Having recently made the move to Australia with his wife, he’s now getting stuck into the Melbourne Qualified Accounting market.

What drew him to TwoScots? For Shaun, it was the alignment in culture, process and the way we approach recruitment, with his sights now set on helping us build a stronghold in the Melbourne Qual market.

His biggest hiring tip? Don’t take too long. Lengthy processes are one of the easiest ways to lose great candidates; the good ones get snapped up really quickly.

Outside of work, Shaun has swapped being a West Ham season ticket holder for trips to the MCG to watch Collingwood, loves a long run along the beach and is currently training for Ironman Australia in October. 🏋

His best piece of career advice has stuck with him from an old MD: “You don’t get your first three months in a job back, so throw yourself in and get stuck in.”

Safe to say, he’s doing exactly that. Welcome to TwoScots, Shaun!

Last week marked 16 years of Bree Abbott! 💚

What an amazing 16 years it’s been. Two lovely boys, two businesses she absolutely loves being part of, and a whole lot achieved along the way.

Bree brings an infectious energy to everything she does, whether she’s working across TwoScots and PENNI, supporting the teams or simply brightening up the office...

A huge happy 16th anniversary to you Bree, a big ol' cheers to everything you’ve achieved so far, and we know there's plenty more to come! 🍾🍾

One of the best decisions we made this year was moving to Cremorne ❤️ It is amazing what a change of scenery can do for productivity, collaboration and culture.

At the time, it felt like a big step, but looking back, it's easily been one of the best moves we have made.

It seems only fitting that our brand starts to reflect our new Cremorne life! Watch this space 👀
