Family & Probate Lawyer (5–6 Years PAE)

They are a well-established legal practice in Mill Park with over 30 years of experience providing trusted legal advice and representation to individuals, families, businesses, and property professionals throughout Victoria.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Family & Probate Lawyer with 5–6 years' post-admission experience (PAE) to join our friendly and professional team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated lawyer looking to work on a diverse range of quality matters while building long-term client relationships within a supportive and collaborative environment.
About the Role
You will manage a varied caseload across family law and wills & estates, while also gaining exposure to a broad range of litigation and commercial matters.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing family law matters, including parenting and property settlements.
Advising clients on estate planning, probate applications, and deceased estate administration.
Contesting and defending wills and family provision claims.
Preparing and obtaining Probate and Letters of Administration.
Appearing in the Magistrates' Court and Supreme Court of Victoria where required.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Working collaboratively with experienced solicitors across a broad range of practice areas.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
5–6 years' post-admission experience.
Strong experience in family law and probate/wills & estates.
Experience handling contested estate matters.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
The ability to manage files independently from commencement to resolution.
Exceptional communication and client relationship skills.
A practical, commercially minded approach and strong attention to detail.
Admission to practice in Victoria and a current practising certificate.
