**Greenkeeper – Casual / Full-Time**

EWS Recruitment are currently looking for experienced Greenkeepers to join our team for ongoing work in Melbourne's South East.

Location: Melbourne Sandbelt area
Pay rate: Negotiable DOE
Start: Immediate

The role will involve:

* General grounds and garden maintenance
* Mowing, edging, pruning and weeding
* Turf maintenance
* Using landscaping and gardening equipment
* Keeping sites clean and well maintained

We’re looking for someone with previous greenkeeping or landscaping experience who is reliable, hard-working and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.

A White Card and driver’s licence are preferred.

Operating plant comes with responsibility. Knowing your machine and staying aware of what’s happening around you can make all the difference on site.

Keep these things in mind:

⚠️Complete your pre-start
Check the machine, attachments and safety features before use. If something isn't right, report it before operating.

⚠️Know your surroundings
Check blind spots, ground conditions, overhead hazards, nearby workers and other plant before moving.

⚠️Keep people clear
Make sure your operating area is clear before moving. Stop if someone enters your exclusion zone or comes too close.

⚠️Know the machine's limits
Understand its capacity, attachments, stability and operating limitations. Never take shortcuts or push a machine beyond what it's designed to do.

Remember, you can never be too careful when operating machinery on-site. The job might change, the machine might change, but safe operating habits should always stay the same.
