Mannings Funerals was established in Glen Iris, Victoria in 1940 by WWII veteran, Alan Manning. Alan was committed to providing for families, especially those of returned and serving personnel of the Australian Defence Forces with an affordable and dignified funeral service.
80+ years on, Mannings Funerals is still Australian family owned and operated. Mannings Funerals are proud to be members of
two national industry organisations, the National Funeral Directors’ Association (NFDA) and the Australian Institute of Embalmers (AIE). Mannings Funerals, to this day, continues Alan’s legacy by maintaining a close relationship with multiple RSL sub-branches and various Vietnam Veterans associations. Our commitment to be a compassionate funeral provider delivering a funeral service of the highest quality and standards remains unchanged. Our aim is to meet the needs of our local communities by not just offering affordable and uncomplicated funeral services, but to exceed expectations.
