What does it really take to move from high-performing manager to senior leader?

At our recent event with Achieve Coaching, we explored why strong performance alone does not always lead to promotion, and how executive readiness, strategic thinking, influence, visibility and leadership presence all play a role in career progression. 💡

What a great evening welcoming the community back to Recruitment Group.

As part of our ongoing support of Women 4 STEM’s Importance of Women event series, Method was pleased to host the September session: From Leader to Director: Navigating Your Path to the Boardroom.

The evening opened up an honest and practical conversation about what the pathway to board roles can look like, from building a board resume to understanding the AICD course and positioning yourself for volunteer or paid director opportunities.

As sponsors, we’re proud to support a series that creates space for women to connect, learn and have career conversations that matter.

A fantastic day with the Data & AI community at Melbourne Connect for the AI & Robotics Innovation Expo.

Method was proud to sponsor and attend the event, with Liam Kelly and Joseph Lee taking part as Expo Stage speakers.

Their session explored the impact of AI in recruitment workflows, including how it can enhance both client and candidate experience, as well as the challenges of attracting AI talent in a candidate-short market.

Alongside Chris Bui and Michael Mooney, our team enjoyed connecting with attendees, sharing market insights and being part of broader conversations around AI, robotics, innovation and the future of talent.

What does the path to the boardroom really look like?

As part of our ongoing support of the Women 4 STEM's Importance of Women event series, Method is looking forward to welcoming the community back for the next session: 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿: 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺.

This conversation will bring together women who have navigated the move into board roles, across both volunteer and paid director positions, to share what they wish they had known earlier.

Expect a practical discussion on board resumes, pitching yourself, the AICD course and how senior women can start positioning themselves for future board opportunities.

This year’s message, Ask R U OK? Any Day, encourages us to keep checking in beyond the calendar moment, because people experience life’s ups and downs every day. R U OK?
