We’re excited to welcome Tom Howard to the Blackbook team!

He joins our Supply Chain & Logistics team, bringing over 9 years’ experience recruiting mid to senior Supply Chain roles across the UK and in Australia. He has developed strong relationships across the market and a deep understanding of the Supply Chain landscape.

Tom is based in our Sydney office, working alongside Luke Del Vecchio as we continue to grow our presence in Sydney and NSW.

As our Administration Officer, Caitlin is the one who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes - from being the friendly voice on the phones and the first face you see at the door, to staying on top of invoices, payments and all the day-to-day things that keep the office ticking.

A big congratulations to Eimear Hunt on her 1 year anniversary with Blackbook 🥳

Over the past year, Eimear has made her mark across our Engineering & Operations team, working on the Contracting desk and building strong relationships with both clients and candidates. Her work ethic, reliability, and willingness to get stuck in have been clear from day one, and she continues to go from strength to strength in a fast paced market.

A special shoutout to our Irish crew Eimear & Kate keeping the Irish spirit alive in the office today, and to Paddy, who somehow managed to time his move back to Ireland perfectly… just in time for the celebrations no doubt.

We’re excited to introduce Matty Axtens, who has recently joined the Blackbook team.

Matty relocated from New Zealand just over 14 months ago and brings several years’ experience recruiting trades professionals both in Australia and back home in New Zealand.

He joins our Engineering & Operations team, working alongside Joe Keogh on the growing Trades desk.

Outside of recruitment, Matty is our resident rugby superstar, recently named Rugby Victoria Dewar Shield Player of the Year, and brings plenty of drive and team spirit both in and out of the office.
