They are looking for a Business Manager to run one of their restaurants in Melbourne and embody their values and brand.

The Role

The Business Manager is responsible for managing all day to day elements of running a restaurant. They have complete operational and PBL accountability for a high turnover business. They are expected to proactively manage, motivate, and lead a team from varying backgrounds and cultures. The Business Manager is responsible for planning strategies to ensure the business plan is delivered.

Responsibilities include:

• Recruit, retain, train, and develop the team to the highest standards using the online talent management system, training platform and day to day coaching.
• Development plans in place for all staff to ensure the highest levels of operational excellence.
• Ensure people bench and succession plans are in place - you identify your high performers and commence them onto Supervisory training programs, focusing on closing the gap to become future leaders.
• Drive employee NPS (eNPS) scores and participation above benchmarks as measured by Peakon.
• Team Management including conducting appraisals, dealing with disciplinary issues. terminations & all other HR processes with the support of your ROM / HR.
• Review monitor and drive customer satisfaction on all platforms – Google Reviews, customer feedback emails, and 3rd party delivery platform ratings.
• Drive and champion a customer-first culture.
• Comply with marketing initiatives and create and execute local area marketing initiatives.
• Ensure speed of service systems are in place and executed to the highest standards.
• Monitor daily sales patterns and take action as required.
• Support your Restaurant through delegating a key number to your Assistant Managers and Supervisors to influence results.
• Create friendly internal competitions to drive KPI’s and challenge your team.
• Complete P&L accountability for the restaurant.
• Roster forecasting and labour management.
• Managing COGS via stock ordering, receiving, rotation and stock taking.
• Ensure equipment is we maintained and preventative maintenance is undertaken in quieter periods.
• Take ownership of company vision & values.
• Ensure compliance with WHS. Food Safety and Liquor Licensing legislation.
• Ensure compliance of policies & Procedures.

Skills and Experience

• Current RSA Certificate
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
• Passionate, energetic & enthusiastic
• Highly organised and motivated
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent leadership ability - with proven experience developing and coaching others
• Proven ability to motivate staff and build team spirit
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written

• Ability to read and digest a P&L

The Company

Our client is a well-established and innovative brewing business in the Southern Tablelands. As they enter an exciting growth phase, demands on Production continue to expand, meaning they are in need of multiple brewers on an initial 3-month contract basis, with the opportunity to go permanent.

The Role

Primarily focused on monitoring all stages of the fermentation process, you’ll ensure the quality and integrity of the beer until it’s released to packaging.

- Cleaning and sanitising fermenters, brite tanks, transfer lines, filtration set up etc
- Monitoring fermentation and managing the dry hopping and maturation of beers
- Prepare malt for brewing in accordance with recipes and mill malt when necessary
- Maintaining inventory
- Assisting other production areas where required
- Provide general maintenance and upkeep of hygiene across the brewery
- Sensory profiling and evaluation of finished beer

Skills & Experience

- Demonstrated professional brewing experience
- Flexibility regarding shift work
- Physically fit: able to work safely and professionally in a manual environment
- Knowledge in filling technologies (Can, Keg)
- Available to start immediately

They are now looking for an eCommerce Digital Specialist to join the wider digital team.

The Role

Reporting to the Digital Director, the eCommerce Digital Specialist will successfully manage and improve the performance of 3rd party platforms & their eCommerce website as well as building the digital presence of one of the business's key brands from scratch.

Key Tasks:

- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure and optimize digital assets.
- Manage and optimize marketplaces including eBay and Amazon.
- Management of the day-to-day trade and merchandising of the online store.
- Monitor daily on-site performance to meet and exceed conversion and revenue.
- Analysis and weekly reporting of onsite performance and providing insights to relevant stakeholders.
- Management of CRM & EDM communications to customers.
- Create brand awareness online through influencer partnerships & collaborations.
- Assist in day-to-day management of SEO strategy, implementation & monitoring.
- Responsible for the implementation of varied eCommerce and digital marketing projects.

Skills & Experience

We’re ideally looking for 2+ years’ experience in E-Commerce or online marketing, preferably in a fast-paced B2C environment. In addition, we’re looking for:

- Solid experience in 3rd party marketplace management & growth such as eBay and Amazon.
- Management of eCommerce platforms and email marketing using platforms such as Shopify and Klaviyo.
- Someone who’s results driven with a problem-solving mindset. Skilled in analytics with strong attention to detail.
- SEO and Content Marketing exposure.
- Experience in digital strategy is not essential but will be favourable
- A strong communicator and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.

A connection or interest to the product and health/wellness industry is also super important.
