MECHANICAL FITTER
📍 Location: Kenwick , WA
⏰ Shift: Day shift - 6am to 2:30pm

What you’ll do:
Component overhaul & rebuilds: Execute complete tear-downs, condition assessments, and rebuilds of crushers (cone, jaw, impact) and vibrating equipment (screens, feeders, exciters).
Precision mechanical assembly: Perform precision measurement checks (micrometers, dial indicators, bore gauges), setting eccentric throws, bearing pre-loads, backlash, and running clearances.
Troubleshooting & diagnostics: Inspect worn components, identify failure modes (fatigue, wear patterns, contamination), and execute root-cause failure analysis.

What they’re looking for:
🔹 Trade qualification: Australian recognised trade certificate in Mechanical Fitting (Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical trade or equivalent).
🔹 Crusher expertise: Demonstrated experience servicing and overhauling fixed plant crushing equipment (e.g., Metso, Sandvik, Terex, FLSmidth, or similar OEM equipment).
🔹 Vibratory equipment experience: Proven hands-on knowledge with vibrating screens, exciter gearboxes, unbalance motors, and deck assemblies.
🔹 Precision fitting skills: High proficiency in precision measurement, thermal fitting (heating/freezing bearing applications), and torque tolerances.
🔹 High-risk work licences (desirable / essential):
High risk work licence – Forklift (LF)
Do***ng (DG) or Rigging (RB/RI) (Highly regarded)
Overhead Gantry Crane experience

PRODUCTION AND MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
📍 Location: Malaga, WA
⏰ Shift: Day shift - 40 hours p/w. Reasonable overtime

What you’ll do:
Safety & Quality Leadership – Drive safety, compliance, audits, incident prevention and quality standards.
Team Leadership & Development – Lead, coach, train and performance-manage Maintenance and Mesh Production teams.
Maintenance & OEE Optimisation – Oversee equipment maintenance, spare parts, work orders and OEE improvement.
Process & Lean Manufacturing – Develop standard work, improve workflows and champion 5S and Lean practices.
ERP & Operational Management – Manage work orders, scheduling, inventory and reporting through ERP/BI systems.
Contractor & Vendor Management – Manage suppliers, contractors and external engineering partners while ensuring safety compliance.

What they’re looking for:
🔹 Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on technical troubleshooting skills.
🔹 Proven leadership experience managing, coaching, and developing shop floor production or maintenance teams.
🔹 Deep knowledge of workshop safety procedures, hazard mitigation, and ISO quality frameworks.
🔹 Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to exercise sound judgment under operational pressure.
🔹 Experience operating or maintaining TECCO high-tensile mesh machinery or similar automated wire production lines.
🔹 Practical exposure to ERP systems (such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Navision) and BI reporting tools.
🔹 Familiarity with specialised steel/wire processing software or hardware systems (e.g., Habel).
