🧰 JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following duties may be required of you (not limited to):

• Working alongside fast paced conveyor belts
• Picking, packing, and repacking a high volume of products
• Labelling products
• Assembly
• Quality checking
• Food handling and packing
• Weighing of products
• Stacking pallets
• General housekeeping duties
• Unloading and sorting of stock
• Strong knowledge of OH&S and applying these in the work force
• Working well in a team and to strict deadlines

✅ REQUIREMENTS:

• Be reliable and punctual
• Physically fit & capable of standing, lifting up to 25kgs and bending to pick up and move products as needed.
• Have required PPE - Safety shoes & Hi Vis Polo
• Clear understanding of all strict food rules
• Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
• Proven experience in the manufacturing field as a process worker - production pick packer
• Strong focus on safety
• Available to start immediately

✅ This position is an ongoing role and candidates need to be available Monday to Friday- Dayshift.

🧰 Essential skills/ experience includes however is not limited to:

• Be flexible and undertake all Factory & Warehouse Duties & General Hand work
• Be available Monday - Friday & work up to 38 hours each week
• Machinery experience /machine operation of various natures
• Strong focus on safety and a clear understanding of OH&S, GMP & HACCP
• Solid work history with two contactable references
• Physically fit and willing to undertake physical work with the ability to work on fast paced production lines – packing product into boxes
• Replenishing stock, filling machinery, loading and labelling general production work
• Achieve production output and line speed targets within set timeframes
• Experience and or ability to set and operate machinery and ensure production runs accordingly (Training will be offered) operate relevant processing/packaging equipment and follow processes to required safety & quality standards
• Machinery experience /machine operation of various natures

✅ REQUIREMENTS:

• Current Driver's License
• Own reliable transport
• PPE – Safety Boots, Hi Vis
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willing to undertake physical work
• Willing to learn
• Available to start immediately

Pick packers and General labourers

Our client is seeking casual staff that is willing to work early mornings, you must have a good understanding of Food Handling processes as you will be working with raw materials.
All areas of Poultry Processing.
Chicken hanging - working with live chickens
Packing Chicken - Packing and cleaning Chicken after processing
Onsite training and uniform provided
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Poultry cleaning
• Removing excess feathers
• Process work
• Packing
• Process poultry - dealing with raw poultry
• General cleaning
• Cold storage environment
To be successful for this position you must have the following:
• Reliable transport
• Must be able to work early mornings from 5AM
• Flexibility with rosters
• Willing to work short shifts between 4 to 8 hours
• Ability to work with strong smells
• Thorough knowledge of WHS processes and procedures
