Are you an OT, Physio or Podiatrist in or open to relocating to the Gold Coast, and want to be part of an exciting new region service set up? Our client is a leading national health service who are renown for providing the highest quality of care and an exceptional career experience. Apart from providing community allied health services, they manage large government contracts and provide over 1 million healthcare interactions per year through telehealth.

Right now, they are looking to set up a team of allied health professionals on the Gold Coast, similar to where they have in many regions across the country. The focus will be on Support at Home (community aged care) and Rehab in the Home (post hospital care delivered in the home instead of inpatient), the caseload will not include NDIS or residential aged care.

This is a truly exciting opportunity to be part of a team and service set up, but with all the infrastructure in place.

While there will be amazing state and national based support, they do need their initial Gold Coast setup team to have some post grad clinical experience, but we wont be prescriptive about how much as everyone’s situation is unique.

Day to day, you will be supporting clients in home with a range of clinical assessments, interventions and treatment aligned to their specific situation and funding services, and work highly collaboratively with your allied health colleagues in a MDT. You will have flexibility to work from home whenever you’re not with clients.

Right now, our client is growing their Speech team and looking for 2-3 clinicians at various experience levels (graduate, early career, senior). Salary range $85k - $110k + super.

Day to day, you will support clients in the community whether it be in their home, educational settings, a community centre, aged care facility, remotely by telehealth or wherever most appropriate. You’ll complete a range of comprehensive assessments and therapy including swallowing assessments (dysphagia evaluations), and evidence-based treatment for speech, language, voice, and fluency concerns. This is not a NDIS only role, you’ll also see aged care + private clients too.

For new grads or early career Speechies, you will be provided with a comprehensive tailored training program to ensure you have all the support you need without needing a clinic. You’ll also have regular in person and remote support from your senior / leader.
If you’re at Senior level, the Speech team is growing and there will be opportunities to move into leadership, starting off with mentoring and if you’re ready, providing some clinical supervision.

Most clinicians with this company work in the comfort of their home 50% - 60% of the week (usually full at home days), with the remaining time out seeing clients in the community. Plan your week to suit you. Full or part-time options available.
