THE POSITION:
We seek a motivated and detail-oriented QSO to join our Manjimup Packhouse team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build or expand a career in food safety, quality assurance and compliance in a business with ongoing pathway and growth opportunities.
Working alongside our Quality Control Team and reporting to our Packhouse Managers, you will play a key role in learning and supporting food safety, quality and compliance programmes while helping drive a positive food safety culture across the Packhouse.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Highly flexible, this position is ideal for someone with good people skills, enjoys problem solving and improving systems. We will develop you gradually and steadily to be involved in a range of quality and compliance activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supporting food safety and quality management systems.
• Maintaining compliance records and documentation.
• Assisting daily hygiene, food safety, GMP and compliance activities.
• Supporting audit preparation and customer compliance documentation requirements.
• Assisting investigations, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supporting food safety training and awareness programs.
• Working with operational teams to promote best practice quality standards.
• Supporting the use and development of existing digital compliance systems.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Preferred but not essential:
• Experience in food safety, quality assurance or compliance environments.
• Understanding of GMP, HACCP, food safety or quality systems.
• Experience maintaining records and documentation.
• Strong administration and computer skills.
• Experience with audits, compliance systems or quality programmes.
