Labourer / Workshop Assistant Vacancy

My client, a busy joinery business in Launceston, is seeking a motivated Workshop Assistant to join their team in a permanent full time role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliveries and pickups
- Assisting trades onsite
- Basic workshop joinery tasks
- Maintaining a clean and safe workshop

What they’re looking for:
- Current driver’s licence
- White Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Willingness to learn – training will be provided
- Someone who shows initiative, follows direction, and is ready to get in and have a go

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive workshop environment.

It’s not unknown that I love the sun, in fact my favourite season is summer. I love the warmth on my skin, the bright days and the motivation the sun provides. I feel like I can achieve so much and feel so positive in doing it!

The weekend just gone was so nice. It was busy as usual but it felt so productive and fulfilled!

We visited the new mini golf at the range at country club, worth a look 🥰and the driving range looked very cool also

🌟 It’s okay not to know what you want to do… even at 30, 40, or beyond.

Sometimes it takes years to figure out what truly lights you up—or to finally act on a dream you’ve had for a long time.

Fun fact: KFC wasn’t created until Colonel Sanders was in his 60s! Proof it’s never too late to find your path. 🍗

This year has felt like a rollercoaster in the job market. 🎢

Between a double election, cost of living pressures, and general uncertainty, it hasn’t just been candidates and businesses feeling unsettled—it’s been me too. I think it’s important to be honest about that, because behind every role, placement, or coaching conversation, there’s a real person navigating the same ups and downs.

The reality is: stability has felt hard to grasp in 2025. Decisions are slower, opportunities can feel uncertain, and the "what ifs" weigh heavy on a lot of us.

But the positive I’m seeing, and what really keeps me inspired, are the conversations I’m having with my coaching clients. People are taking stock, asking “what’s next?” and exploring meaningful changes in their careers and lives. That kind of reflection and growth is powerful, and it reminds me that even in uncertain times, there’s space for clarity and opportunity.

I’m hopeful that we’re moving into a more stable market, and I’m grateful to be able to support both businesses and individuals through the messy middle
