Highly qualified & experienced Specialist Ophthalmologist who is committed to providing excellence in Sub Specialty eye care. The practice offers a broad range of specialty eye services.

This position is focused on patient care & supporting the Specialist during consulting sessions.

We are looking for a person who can multitask & thrives at the front desk. Professional outlook & clear communication skills and be part of a team environment.
- patient arrival check in/check out procedures completed for every patient
- smooth running of all consulting sessions ensuring that admin staff duties are carried out in a timely & accurate manner
- Scheduling surgical bookings
- Patient billing
- Scanning of referrals entered accurately in VIP medical software
- Scanning of documents & images accurately
- End of sessions checklist is completed accurately
- Reconcile daily banking & daily float including EFTPOS
- Experience in surgery bookings highly regarded
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Pleasant & welcoming with excellent customer service skills
- Organised & efficient
- Show initiative dealing with difficult patients
- Previous experience in Specialist Medical rooms
