Big Congratulations to Harrison Pike! 🎉

Harrison is a St Pauls College student who has begun a school-based traineeship through AES’ Group Training program with valued host employer Kempsey Shire Council. After impressing the host employer during a two-week work placement, Harrison was offered the opportunity to continue with structured workplace training alongside his HSC studies.

Over the next 18 months Harrison will not only be gaining hands-on skills in the industry but also completing a Certificate II in Horticulture while studying for his HSC. Harrison is building a clear pathway into a career in horticulture and AES looks forward to supporting him throughout his traineeship 📚✨

These opportunities are targeted towards Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander job seekers who are interested in building a career in education and student support. No experience required — anyone with a willingness to learn and a passion for supporting young people is encouraged to apply.

AES and Dalaigur & Scribbly Gum Dalai would like to welcome back Rebecca Morris and new trainee Cassie Ward ✨

Rebecca has returned from maternity leave to resume her full-time traineeship toward a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. Cassie, who formerly attended Dalaigur & Scribbly Gum Dalai as a preschooler herself, has also started a full-time Certificate III traineeship. We are very proud to support both of these young women through their learning journeys and look forward to witnessing them grow as they care for our children.

Meet Lailah Luckett ✨

Lailah has commenced a school-based traineeship through AES’ Group Training program with host employer Kempsey Shire Council. Over the next two years Lailah will complete a Certificate II in Workplace Skills while finishing her HSC and gaining hands-on experience in the workplace.

Council staff have praised Lailah’s proactive attitude, reliability and willingness to take on responsibility which she has demonstrated early on in the traineeship. Lailah has also engaged with AES’ Drive to Thrive program to build driving skills and complete logbook hours working towards her P1 licence.

Congratulations Lailah!! AES is proud of your progress and is excited to support you on this journey. 🖤💛❤️

Congrats Shiloh Sloane!

After engaging with AES late last year and joining our Drive to Thrive program, Shiloh completed her required logbook hours, passed her driving test and earned her Provisional 1 licence. Too Deadly! ❤️🖤💛

Shiloh has also begun a school-based traineeship through AES Group Training with host employer Dalaigur Pre-School and Children’s Services, studying a certificate III in Early Childhood Education while finishing her HSC.

Great work Shiloh! AES is very proud of your determination and progress toward independence and a career in early childhood education.
