Our client is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist for their busy practice in Joondalup area. 2-3 days per week with flexibility to cover leave. Casual position with opportunity for permanent placement. Pay will be commensurate with experience.

Successful candidate will have :
Previous Medical Reception experience essential with knowledge of Best Practice medical software an advantage.
Knowledge of patient billing including medicare and health funds.
Confident with IT support - e.g. troubleshooting issues.
Positive and professional attitude with strong work ethic.
Proven ability to cope with busy workload as well as prioritise and manage time effectively.
High attention to detail and understanding of confidentiality.

- Previous Bookkeeping experience including Payroll and BAS preparation (essential). Xero preferred.
- Previous Medical Reception experience (preferred) with knowledge of Best Practice medical software an advantage.

- Strong work ethic
- Proven ability to cope with a busy workload as well as prioritise and manage time effectively

Role:
- Share bookkeeping/payroll/BAS functions with Practice Manager
- Greet patients and schedule appointments in Best Practice software
- Database management
- Invoice and receipt patient payments
- Other administrative duties as required
