NDIS SIL Service Manager Required
About the role
The successful applicant will have flexibility to work predominately in Brisbane with scheduled trips to various SIL houses as required. Managing and coordinating supports across multiple SIL houses, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful operations of all aspects of scheduled supports. You will identify ongoing staff training requirements as well as provide mentoring. You will assist clients to meet their NDIS goals identified within their Care Plan and NDIS Plan, whilst maintaining an efficient, fun, and safe working environment for all clients and team members.
Skills and experience
• Must have experience and knowledge of the NDIS Quality and safeguards commission practice standards and have work experience within disability/welfare
• Must have an appropriate qualification in a relevant disability, health, or welfare discipline
• Current open Driver’s License
• Current Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening check.
• National Police Check (current within previous 12 months)
• Demonstrated experience supporting participants with complex needs and behaviours of concern.
• High level communication, influencing, liaison and negotiation skills
• Capacity to identify and manage risks to ensure safety for clients and support workers
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills with a good command of the English language.

• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
• Co-ordination of daily operations across all SIL houses and STAs.
• Providing guidance and some training to team members
• Exercise judgment and initiative
• Build partnerships with external providers and key stakeholders including providing appropriate information for plan reviews
• In conjunction with the Service coordinators, develop a structured Support Plan which aims to improve the quality of life for our clients
• Ensure all reporting obligations are met regarding NDIA and other stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with NDIS Quality Safeguarding Framework
• Ensure all team members are trained to complete all duties as required and ensure that processes are established for effective client support in accordance with a client’s Care Plan
• Co-ordinate and document monthly SIL house meetings
• Co-ordinate and schedule meetings with stakeholders ()
• Manage and participate in the after-hours On-Call system
• Fulfil other duties as required by Operations Manager as part of the service delivery team.
