Energex is preparing to recruit its next intake of apprentices across Queensland, with around 125 opportunities expected to open for the Class of 2027.
To help future applicants prepare, Energex is hosting free online information sessions where participants can learn more about:
👉Trade pathways available
👉The apprenticeship recruitment process
👉Tips for applications and aptitude testing
👉What it’s like to work and train with Energex
Upcoming Online Information Sessions:
Tuesday, June 2 | 4pm to 5pm
Thursday, June 4 | 6.30pm to 7.30pm
Opportunities will be available across 64 Queensland locations, from regional communities through to South East Queensland.
Energex apprenticeships offer:
👉Paid training and supportive teams
👉A 9 day fortnight
👉Excellent pay and conditions
👉Additional incentives available for some regional locations
Applicants need to be aged 17 or older by February 1, 2027. There is no upper age limit.
Applications are scheduled to open on Friday, June 12, 2026.
