Talent Advisory is again partnering with Tranex Power Pty Ltd, this time to recruit their Head of Construction and Delivery (Electrical and Infrastructure), based in Deloraine. $200,000 to $220,000 + super + vehicle or vehicle allowance.

This is a senior Leadership role overseeing major electrical, power and infrastructure projects across Australia. You do not need to come from solar or renewables, we are interested in experienced leaders from electrical infrastructure, power, utilities, major civil construction and other complex project environments.

For someone in Northern Tasmania, opportunities at this level do not come up often. Equally, if you have spent years working FIFO or interstate and want to come home without taking a backwards step in your career, this one is worth a look.

Today marks three years since Talent Advisory became a full time business. Since then, we have grown to support around 60 clients every month and approximately 1,000 employees, expanded our work across Australia and internationally, grown our team and received some incredible recognition along the way.

Most importantly, we would not be here without our clients. Thank you to every business and organisation that has trusted us, referred us, recommended us and continued to work with us.

We are incredibly proud of what has been built over the past three years and excited about what comes next.

Following consideration of the upcoming changes to card payment surcharges, Talent Advisory will no longer accept payment by card from 1 October 2026.

We appreciate that some clients prefer the convenience of paying by card. However, we do not believe it is fair to build those additional costs into our pricing and have them effectively shared by clients who choose to pay by direct deposit.

Rather than increasing our overall costs (as the Australian government has suggested) to accommodate card payments, we have made the decision to remove the option.

From 1 October, all invoices will be payable via direct deposit using the bank details provided on our invoices.

We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate the understanding of our clients.

We are pleased to welcome Brenda Hernandez to Talent Advisory as our new HR & Recruitment Coordinator. Based in Hobart, Brenda brings more than nine years of HR experience across recruitment, employee relations, HR administration, workforce coordination, onboarding and payroll support.

Brenda holds a Bachelor of Organisational Psychology and has extensive experience managing end to end recruitment and supporting large workforces.

She will be working across our HR and recruitment services, supporting our clients and candidates as Talent Advisory continues to grow. We are very pleased to have her on board.

WorkSafe Month is coming up this October across Tasmania, and
Talent Advisory’s Managing Director, Jason Reed will be presenting a WorkSafe Tasmania webinar, When Claims Escalate: The Decisions That Drive Risk.

The session will look at the practical decisions employers make during workers compensation claims, and how those decisions can either help get things back on track or increase risk.
