I am feeling honoured and excited about being accepted today as a Professional Member of the Australian Human Resource Institute and a Member of an Internationally based HR group. I have worked in the HR Industry for over 18 years now and I loved every minute of it. I love meeting new people, providing the best outcomes for my clients (and my previous employers of course) working in the best interest of employees, the challenges that HR can bring and the list goes on really....The world of HR is ever changing and whilst it is a profession that requires continual study and the professional development and certification requirements that underline the profession, it is definitely all worth the personal time you have to sacrifice and even those stressful and challenging times:) On that note I wish to thank my two beautiful cherubs Madeline and Nathaniel for your patience with Mum and for understanding that sometimes Mum does have to miss out watching our favourite TV shows or outside activities for work and/or professional reasons. We make an amazing team!! I would also like to shout out to all my wonderful clients for your faith in me and allowing me to work with you. I intend to maintain my knowledge and understanding of HR so that I can continue to support you well into the future.! So now it is off to start looking at those professional certification programs I need to complete:)
