On Sunday the 28th of May, ITR's cultural mentor Tim Graham opened the Indigenous Round for Flagstaff Hill Football Club's A grade game against Port Noarlunga Football Club with a welcome to country alongside both his daughters.

We would like to thank both football clubs for having our cultural mentor and his daughters share their culture on a special day.

The first National Sorry Day was held on 26th of May 1998, one year after the Bringing Them Home report was tabled in Parliament.

The Bringing Them Home report holds a significant place in my heart due to an interesting find on my grandmother Dulcie Chantrill (nee Newchurch).

In Adelaide, between 1984 and 1986 my grandmother helped collect the sound recordings and transcripts apart of Jerry Schwab's research, that were supplied to the Bringing Them Home Inquiry.

The recordings cover topics such as the impacts of removal, surveillance at the hands of the Aborigines Protection Board, police harassment, exploitation in the workforce and survival tactics.
