We often assume burnout comes from the job.

The workload.

The pressure.

And sometimes it does.

But not always.

A lot of the time, it comes down to what we allow.

When do you check your phone?
When do you respond?
When do you switch off?

That call at 7pm might feel small in the moment.
Easy to justify.
Quick to take.

But the people at home notice.

And they remember.

It is rarely one big decision that creates burnout.
It is the accumulation of small ones.
