The 2026 Gympie Region Industry and Career Showcase (July 24, 9.30am - 2pm) will showcase over 50 exhibitors, representing local businesses, RTOs, Universities and other community-based organisations offering employment and training opportunities.

The Gympie Region is a growing precinct with current and future opportunities in Construction, Manufacturing, and the Health Care and Social Assistance sectors.

Local jobseekers and students are encouraged to attend and engage with businesses, universities and local training organisations to learn about pathways towards sustainable employment and career opportunities.

An "invisible disability" refers to a physical, mental, or neurological condition that isn't immediately apparent from looking at someone. It can include conditions like chronic pain, mental health issues, learning disabilities, or conditions that affect cognitive or sensory processing. While these disabilities may not be visibly obvious, they can still impact a person's daily life.
Examples of Invisible Disabilities:
Physical Conditions: Chronic pain, diabetes, epilepsy, arthritis, etc.
Mental Health Conditions: Depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, etc.
Neurological Conditions: MS, ADHD, autism, dyslexia, etc.
Other: Sensory processing disorders, cognitive impairments, chronic fatigue, etc.
