Trainer & Assessors
Foundation Skills (EOI for Variety of Industries)
Summit Employment and Training is a community based RTO that has been providing accredited training and community education for over 20 years.
Summit Employment and Training (RTO No. 7104) offers a range of qualifications designed to assist students of all ages to reach their full potential through a variety of funded programs. We currently have positions available for trainers in the following industry groups:
• Foundation Skills / Language Literacy and Numeracy
• Agriculture and Land and Conservation
• Retail
• Hospitality
• Warehousing and Logistics
• Business
Positions are being offered in Griffith, Tamworth, Armidale, Dubbo, Broken Hill, Bathurst and Wagga Wagga. Travel to outlying service centres will be required.
Expressions of interest will also be taken for other qualifications on our scope of registration for delivery in these areas.
To be successful in this role you will need:
Essential Criteria
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment;
• Commitment to continuous improvement as well as maintaining and updating industry skills and knowledge;
• Highly effective communication skills liaising with a wide range of stakeholders including young people, community organisation and employers;
• Strong administration, organisational and monitoring skills;
• Adaptability and flexibility to maintain high level of outcomes and satisfaction;
• To be highly organised, adaptable to variety of students needs and ability to adjust assessments;
• Ability to obtain Working With Children Check and National Police Check
• Willingness to travel;
Desirable
• Experience working with students from CALD backgrounds, disability or learning difficulties
Trainers will be required to be flexible and capable of delivering tailored training to a diverse range of students. Hours can be negotiated dependent on the qualification and programs delivered. It is expected that hours may increase throughout the year.
