Our client are global providers of colorant technology solutions. Due to expansion, they are seeking to employ a permanent IT Technician for their Dandenong based Company.
You will be responsible for the support and maintenance of infrastructure and network in Australia, and remotely supporting other APAC sites as needed. Designs, implements and troubleshoots PC/LAN systems for multiple locations. Provides integration, troubleshooting and support services to all internal departments and systems. You will require strong knowledge of server and desktop processing/operating systems.
About the Job:
• Installs, configures, and maintains personal computers, and other related equipment, devices, and systems.
• Establishes and maintains network user accounts, user environments, directories, and security.
• Investigates user problems, identifies the source, determines, and implements the solution.
• Updates the desktop and laptop operating systems as required.
• Reviews technical notices and security alerts.
• Maintains work instructions and troubleshooting documentation.
• Ensures Anti-virus software is installed on all user workstations and is up to date.
• Liaise with IT Vendors on procurement of IT Equipment sourcing and IT Assets Management.
• Provide support for all company utilised software such as Salesforce, Alchemy, Power BI, HFM, Innovatint etc.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years’ experience in the IT field.
• Relevant IT qualification or certificate - bachelor’s degree is desirable.
• Extensive experience with first and second tier support of PC, printers, phones and mobile phones and client applications in the Microsoft and IOS environments.
• Experience with networking protocols and Active Directory a plus.
• Knowledge of Office 365, Zebra printers, RF guns for scanning, and switches and firewalls would be desirable but not essential.

The work will be on-site. On occasions you will be required to travel to other Asia Pacific sites. You will be required to be available for on call work to provide support services during off hours as well as scheduled night and weekend work.
