From 1 July 2026, Australia's National Minimum Wage will increase to $26.44 per hour providing a welcome boost to many workers and helping businesses stay aligned with evolving workplace obligations.

Our team had the privilege of attending the Disability Employment Australia conference last week surrounded by passionate Providers and advocates reminding us why our work matters so deeply.

The conversations, shared experiences, and diverse perspectives gave us a powerful lens on what meaningful reform could look like with the goal of enhancing the participant experience and continuing to strengthen our service delivery.

We’ve returned informed, inspired and ready to keep working towards greater outcomes.

The EOFY is upon us, it's time for the NextGen Collective to celebrate!

Next Gen Collective brings together a mix of locals in their 20s and 30s, for a good time - sharing laughs and networking! Whether you're working in an office, on a jobsite, in a salon anyone is welcome.

There will be a mix of people coming solo, with friends or colleagues.
What to can expect:
- A welcome drink on arrival 🍹
- $8 drink specials all night 🥂
- Grazing by Itinerant Spirits 🧀
- Entry into the prize draw 🏆

Careers don’t all start the same way, and they shouldn’t have to. Sometimes, they start with a football in hand and a qualification in progress.

For Xavier, that’s exactly how it started.

He’s just recently completed his Certificate III in Business with host employer, AFL Barwon where he has learnt all about administration, business operations and community sport while gaining a nationally recognised qualification.

“I’ve learned so much during my time with AFL Barwon and I would 100 per cent recommend taking on a traineeship to anyone.”
