Congratulations to our May 2026 Employee of the Month winner!

Amazing feedback from a client for Chandani:🎉🎉🎉
'Chandani demonstrated exceptional care and communication skills while supporting a resident with advanced dementia who is typically uneasy around new people and can become withdrawn.

Chandani was able to build rapport quickly, helping the resident feel safe, comfortable, and engaged. Her approach was so successful that she even had him up dancing. The site was extremely impressed with her performance and advised they would be happy to have her return anytime.'

Almost one in three Australians experiences loneliness. For people with disability and carers, that number can be even greater.

Many people living with disability face barriers to participating in physical activity, while carers often struggle to find time, social support and opportunities to look after their own wellbeing. To help change this situation, our UniMelb research team developed ConnectUp, a new digital platform that allows people with disability and carers to find others nearby, explore inclusive physical activities and venues, and strengthen community through shared experiences.
