HORIZON - Uplifting Regional Female Leaders Program

First Nations X is returning to regional WA for HORIZON IMPACT BRIDGE 2026, our expanded leadership and entrepreneurship program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women living and working in regional Western Australia.

In 2026, the program will support up to 36 women across the regional WA through two-day HORIZON masterclasses, one-day IMPACT BRIDGE implementation days for those already running a business or project, online sessions, up to six months of mentoring, and a Perth showcase at West Tech Fest.

Key dates:

APPLICATIONS CLOSE: (This) Friday 21st August 2026
Port Hedland 2-Day Masterclass: 1–2 September 2026
Newman 2-Day Masterclass: 7–8 September 2026
Bunbury 2-Day Masterclass: 19-20 October 2026
IMPACT BRIDGE Implementation Days will immediately follow the HORIZON 2-day workshops for a smaller number of participants keen for more dedicated support to take their established business or project to the next level
Online Workshop Series: October–November 2026
Mentoring: September 2026 – February 2027

HORIZON IMPACT BRIDGE is supported by a range of funding partners, with the Local Buying Foundation and West Australian Government through the New Industries and Innovation Fund each contributing to different elements of the broader program, helping make these opportunities free for selected participants.
