Blue Sky Community Services is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Family Practitioner to join their Families, Young People and Communities Team!

About the role:
✅ Support children and families to remain safe and connected at home
✅ Provide family-centred, trauma-informed support
✅ Help families develop goals and plans to improve their wellbeing
✅ Work alongside community services and support networks
✅ Contribute to positive outcomes for children, parents and carers

What you’ll need:
✔️ A relevant tertiary qualification, or be working towards one, in Social Work, Psychology or a related discipline
✔️ Experience supporting vulnerable children and families
✔️ Strong communication and organisational skills
✔️ A current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one
✔️ A willingness to travel throughout the local region

WOMEN’S SELF-AWARENESS & SELF-DEFENCE CLASS

Gurehlgam, in partnership with Brett Austin from Grafton Diamond Martial Arts, is delivering a fantastic 10-week Women’s Self-Awareness and Self-Defence Program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women aged 18 and over.

This is a great opportunity for women to build confidence, learn practical self-defence techniques and connect with other women in a safe, supportive and culturally safe environment. 💪🏽

🥊 Practical self-defence techniques
👀 Situational awareness and managing risk
💪 Building confidence and personal safety skills
❤️ Connecting with other women in the community
