This well-established, successful energy consultancy offers energy management services for business customers, achieving significant energy cost reductions. The group also implements and manages embedded network solutions for large shopping centres and commercial building complexes providing energy savings for tenants and income for landlords. As the group enjoys a period of
sustained growth an opportunity has become available for an experienced Collections Officer to join the team based in the Hawthorn East office.
Reporting to the Accounts Team Leader you will manage customer enquiries and payments over the phone and on email. Dealing with tenants and account holders facing sometimes challenging circumstances, you will listen carefully and show sensitivity. You will also proactively build rapport with customers to arrange suitable payment options whilst liaising regularly with the Billing and Customer Service team.
With previous experience in a collections-based role, you will ideally have prior exposure to a billing system and the energy sector. You will be an excellent relationship-builder who is driven by finding positive workable solutions. A fast learner who enjoys getting to know new systems and processes, you will also possess a high level of attention to detail.
