Aboriginal Employment Strategy - Newcastle The Aboriginal Employment Strategy (AES) is a 100% Indigenous managed, national, not-for-profit Recruitment Company

The AES seeks to bring about significant positive social change by supporting Indigenous Australians in establishing successful careers. It does this through its Group Training Programs inclusive of school based training, apprenticeships, recruitment services, mentorships and community-based programs. Nationwide, the AES works closely with its Corporate Partners and communities to establish a generation of Indigenous professionals, changing the face of employment in Australia and improving living standards for Indigenous Australians. - Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.

-Confident in the use of smart phone/devices.
-Hold a current Class C drivers license.
- Provide a Police/criminal history check, no older than in the last 6 months.
-Provide a copy of a valid Working With Children Check for employment purposes.

“We as women are everything to everyone else and nothing to ourselves, it’s okay to be selfish. Taking care of yourself is essential for long-term success and well-being. Strive for a balance between work and personal life. Don’t shy away from challenges or opportunities outside your comfort zone. These experiences can lead to significant growth and development, both personally and professionally.”

Q: Why do you love about supporting Mob into careers?

“I enjoy working with mob because it allows me to make a meaningful impact on people's lives every day. The sense of accomplishment that comes with supporting mob to break down barriers into employment and gain sustainable employment is incredibly rewarding. The opportunity to collaborate with talented and passionate mob within my local community keeps me motivated and excited to come to work. Overall, my job gives me a sense of purpose and fulfillment that makes every day worthwhile.”

Some Core Duties Include:
- Interviewing, assessing and referring careers seekers into employment opportunities
- Develop and implement employment career action plans with career seekers, review and evaluate plans as circumstances change
