The Caboolture Early Years Place welcomes all families with young children (0 - 8 yrs) and expectant parents. It is a place where children and their families can access a range of services to support child and family wellbeing and give children the best start in life. Our Team Services:
In order to meet the holistic needs of each family, the Early Years Place has a team of qualified staff from a
variety of professional backgrounds. Our multi-disciplinary team consisting of Early Childhood Educators, Family Support Workers and Child Health Staff work together to provide a circle of support around children and their carers to meet the individual needs of the family. If we can not provide the support needed, we can assist families to link in with other services and health professionals who can. We provide a range of services including:
1) Group Programs
- Playgroups
- Child-focused groups and activities
- Parent support and/or education groups
2) Individual Family Support
- child-raising support programs
- parenting education, support and advice
- linking with local support networks, schools,
health and education services
- playgroups
- linking with employment services and adult
education and training programs
- referrals to specialist services for family
wellbeing.
3) Child Health Services
- Drop-in clinics and Appointments
- Lactation Clinics
- Infant/child growth & development checks
- New baby clinics
- Home visiting for first time parents
- Sleep and settling clinics in the home
