What do Adam Cheyer (co-founder of Siri), Howard Behar (Ret President of Starbucks) and Saul Blinkoff (Disney animator and producer) have in common?

They were all with the amazing at Leapcon 2026.

We had the craziest time in Silicon Valley: learning, laughing and connecting. I made some wonderful new friends too.

I have such a high degree of respect for each of these leaders.

They way Adam thinks about future trends and timing of products is VERY different to other leaders i’ve met.

The way Howard prioritises getting his message of Servant Leadership out to audiences in challenging times.

The magic of Saul who took a ‘down to business’ group and awoke the inner child in each of us in 5 minutes.

Also, Adam does cool magic tricks and we did one together so stay tuned for another video on that!

Silicon Valley has changed alot in the last 3 years since I visited. The mood is frenetic on the AI front (Australia is largely taking a laid back ‘let’s wait and see’ attitude while others here clamour at pace for resources, market opportunities and continuing relevance) and many companies have moved interstate, leaving an eerie feeling.

Thank goodness there is still hope, magic and leadership to take us forward!

I am deeply honored to share that I have been invited as a guest speaker to attend the CSW70 Side Event hosted by the Permanent Mission of Cabo Verde and the Permanent Observer Mission of WSA to the United Nations at the UN Headquarters in New York on 18 March 2026.

This important side event is bringing together ambassadors, policymakers, technical experts, and global stakeholders committed to advancing equitable and sustainable development.

The theme of the event, “Addressing Structural Barriers, Water Justice: Implications for a Science-Based Solutions Approach on Water and Sanitation Equity for Women and Girls,” underscores a critical global priority. Water access is not merely an infrastructure issue; it is intrinsically linked to gender equity, health, dignity, education, and economic participation.

As the international community accelerates efforts toward the 2030 Agenda, centering water justice and evidence-driven policy in the conversation is both timely and necessary. Ensuring equitable access to water and sanitation, particularly for women and girls, requires coordinated action, informed science, and sustained political will.

I look forward to contributing to meaningful dialogue and engaging with leaders who are committed to advancing practical, measurable solutions in this vital area.
