The role:
📅 Flexible rosters with short & long-term roles
💰 Competitive pay: $55–$72 p/h + penalties
📍 Gladstone, QLD

Key responsibilities:
➡ Carrying out mechanical maintenance, repairs, and fault finding across site assets
➡ Responding to breakdowns efficiently to minimise downtime
➡ Performing preventative and planned maintenance tasks

About you:
✅ Certificate III in Mechanical Fitting or Fitter & Turner
✅ Proven experience in fixed-plant maintenance and breakdown response
✅ Strong fault-finding skills across pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, valves, and motors

Chandler Macleod is currently seeking experienced Electrical and E&I Technicians for immediate starts across Rio Tinto operations in Gladstone, including Yarwun Refinery and Boyne Smelters.

The role:
📅 9-day fortnight
💰 Weekly pay cycle
📍 Gladstone, QLD

Key responsibilities:
➡ Electrical and instrumentation maintenance across fixed plant and processing systems
➡ Work on PLCs (including Allen Bradley), VSDs, and automated equipment
➡ Instrument calibration, testing, commissioning, and fault finding

About you:
✅ Electrical Trade Qualification (mandatory)
✅ Safety-focused, reliable, and able to work within structured maintenance systems and procedures
✅ White Card, WAH, Confined Space, FL, EWP tickets preferred
