CrewSELECT is seeking 2 reliable Workshop Pickers/Sorters to join a busy recycling facility in Hemmant.
Help recover valuable materials from construction waste while securing consistent weekday work, full training and a genuine opportunity to progress into permanent employment.
What’s on Offer
Day shift: $35.60/hr + penalties + super
Afternoon shift: $40.94/hr + penalties + super
Monday–Friday work with no rotating rosters
Immediate starts with 6+ months of ongoing work
Weekly pay and full training provided
Opportunity to secure permanent employment
The Role
Pick and sort construction materials along a moving conveyor line
Separate timber, steel, concrete and general waste into designated streams
Use hand tools and shovels to support material flow
Maintain a clean and organised work areaFollow site safety procedures and PPE requirements
Work with the team to keep production running safely and efficiently
What We’re Looking For
Reliability, a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key.
You’ll also need:
Capacity to perform repetitive manual work throughout your shift
Comfort working in a dusty recycling environment
Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
Reliable transport, including for early starts
Unlimited Australian working rights and availability for at least 6 months
An LF forklift licence is advantageous
Wearing a P2 respirator is mandatory.
Applicants must remain clean-shaven where the mask seals against the face.

BALER MACHINE OPERATORS – MURARRIE, QLD

Looking for ongoing work with a pathway to permanent employment?

CrewSELECT is recruiting Baler Machine Operators for a brand-new resource recovery facility in Murarrie.

Choose your shift:
Day shift: 4am–12pm | $40.94/hr + penalties + super
Afternoon shift: 2pm–10pm | $47.08/hr + penalties + super

Why apply?
Pathway to permanent full-time employment around the 3–4 month mark, subject to performance and business requirements
Work at a brand-new, modern facility
Training and opportunities to upskill into other areas

You’ll operate baler and wrapping machinery, check product quality, assist with loading finished products into shipping containers and keep your work area safe and tidy.

Production, manufacturing, sorting or warehouse experience is ideal.
A forklift licence is highly regarded, and reliability, a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
This is a dusty environment with mandatory P2 mask requirements.
Facial hair must not interfere with the respirator seal.

Applicants must be able to pass a medical and drug and alcohol screening and have work rights that support ongoing employment.
