Bull Plain Farms is a progressive, family-owned mixed farming operation near Mulwala, NSW, operating across approximately 4,500 hectares. The Role
This is a hands-on position across both cropping and livestock enterprises, with work varying seasonally from broadacre operations such as spraying, sowing, fertiliser application and harvest through to sheep handling, general livestock work, machinery operation and maintenance, fencing, infrastructure projects and supporting farm compliance and record keeping. The role suits a practical person who enjoys variety and day-to-day farm work within a well-organised mixed farming business.

About You
The ideal candidate will bring:
• Experience in broadacre farming operations
• Confidence operating self-propelled boom sprays and air seeders
• Strong mechanical aptitude and machinery care
• Understanding of spray programs, compliance and record keeping
• A strong focus on safety and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude

This is a great opportunity to join Dalara Pastoral, a progressive, family-owned operation with a strong reputation across NSW. Based at their Denman property in the Hunter Valley, this role plays a key part in their hay, silage, and cattle finishing operation.

Operating across productive river flats, the business runs modern irrigation systems, a large-scale fodder program, and a quality cattle finishing enterprise.

The Role
Working closely with the Farm Manager, this is a hands-on role offering the opportunity to develop your skills in irrigation, hay production and modern farming systems. You’ll be involved in:
• Running centre pivot and hard hose irrigation systems
• Hay and silage production, from prep through to baling
• Operating modern machinery (John Deere fleet)
• Pasture work including spraying and sowing
• Supporting cattle finishing programs
• General maintenance of pumps, machinery, and infrastructure

About You
You’re practical, reliable, and enjoy working with machinery and on the land. Most importantly, you take pride in your work, want to be part of a good team, and have a genuine interest in learning more about irrigation, hay production, and modern farming systems.

Ideally, you’ll have:
• Some experience with irrigation and hay or silage production
• Confidence operating and maintaining machinery
• HR licence and ChemCert (or willingness to obtain)

Rivbeef, a family-owned operation, is looking for experienced Pen Riders to join the team at their modern feedlot operation on the outskirts of Deniliquin. This is a great opportunity to work alongside a good crew in a fast-paced cattle environment where good horsemanship, teamwork and animal welfare are genuinely valued.

The Role
Working within the livestock team, you will be involved in all aspects of pen riding and animal husbandry including daily cattle monitoring, animal health treatments, low stress cattle handling, cattle inductions and exits, drafting and moving cattle, along with general record keeping duties.

About You
To be considered, you will ideally have:
• Previous pen riding/feedlot experience
• Strong horsemanship skills
• A genuine passion for cattle and livestock production
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Strong attention to detail and animal welfare standards
• Applicants must supply their own suitable working horses and saddlery
• A current driver’s licence
