It was great to join the Aurukun community recently to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the historic Wik decision.

The team served over 400 burgers throughout the day and had a great time catching up with community and being part of the celebrations.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and shared the day with us.

The community came together in a big way for Aurukun Day on Monday, with a fantastic crowd gathering to celebrate culture, connection, and community spirit.

The Aurukun TEWS team helped feed more than 500 people, supplied water throughout the day, and had the opportunity to speak at the event, while singer Justin Wellington provided the entertainment.

It was a great day to spend time together, celebrate what makes Aurukun special, and be part of an event that brought so many people together.

What an amazing turnout at the Aurukun Careers Day! It was fantastic to see so many local businesses engaging with our community.

Special shout out to Renatta for winning the gummy bear guessing competition. She guessed 356, and the jar had 345.

Thanks to everyone who participated and made the day a success.
