Well old and new likers we have some great news - Model Success will be relaunching in a smaller fashion very soon! More info on that soon but for now we're excited to announce we'll be assisting on a commercial shoot involving kittens in knickers..... no knickers in kittens.... woops knickers AND kittens! 😛Underware brand 'Exs & Ohs' are collaborating with Forever Friends Animal Rescue to help get some gorgeous animals adopted over Xmas.... cant wait to be part of such a cool concept!

Lisa-Maree O'Hara inspired thousands with her open and brave fight wth cancer, and hosted many public events to raise awareness of young people with cancer. She passed away in January 2013 and we miss her dearly. We respect and and love Australian model Megan Gale for her support of Lisa throughout her journey right up to the end. Pls note we don't condone NOT eating things you love or madly exercising to burn off calories, we're all about being informed about what you put INTO your body and what you do FOR your body :-)

All you need to do is pump in your preferred type and duration of exercise and it'll tell you how many kj's you'll burn in that time. Then compare that with the kj's listed on the food you're about to eat.... and make an informed decison about whether its the right food for you or how much exercise…

THIS IS WHY I DO WHAT I DO!! - article 'Model Mayhem blamed for missing women'

I founded Model Success not to encourage more young people to be sucked into the modelling world than already are, but to educate on how the industry works and how to avoid scams, dangers, and pitfalls that come with such a volatile, aesthetically focused, and female sensitive industry.

It frustrates me that young girls are more inclined to say yes to a free shoot just because its free and boosts their confidence (temporarily), than to seek help in how to model well and safely... and parents are sometimes no better! Most parents think signing their daughter up to a modelling course that has a name behind it but teaches nothing more than catwalk, basic make up, and a few photos, is the way to help their daughter pursue her interest in modelling. NO there's so much more to it than that!

And if someone is already modelling (already modelling means 'have done one shoot' to some people), doing lots of free TF shoots is HUGELY valued over investing time and money into learning how to model professionally and safely. No wonder women are going missing when they dont have a clue how to deal with all the bogus modelling job offers they get online!

I work intensively to educate models (and parents) on:
- how, when, why to accept certain jobs
- what to look for in online messages to establish professionalism and potential safety
- how to know when to say no to job offers
- how to deal with other pitfalls in the industry such as body image issues, eating disorders, drug use, big-noters that suck you into things, legalities in the industry
- how to not live in a dreamworld about where modelling will take you but still get great things out of modelling and take it forward with you in life.

To be clear- i dont think Mayhem is to blame for this, i think the lack of support and proper training in the industry is.
