Our clients are a forward-thinking family farming business located in Narrogin, WA, successfully operating a wheat and sheep enterprise. Currently, they manage a cropping program covering 2,000 acres, with plans to expand to 5,000 acres in the coming years. This is an exciting opportunity to join their team as they seek an experienced and motivated cropping manager. The ideal candidate will lead our cropping operations and help us achieve sustainable growth.

As the Cropping Manager, you will play a crucial role in planning and executing our broadacre cropping program. You will report directly to the General Manager and the Directors and will have the autonomy to manage daily operations.

Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing annual cropping programs that encompass seeding, spraying, fertilising, and harvesting. You will manage the cropping budgets and ensure expenses align with agreed targets, operate and maintain broadacre machinery, and monitor soil health and crop yields while ensuring safe and sustainable farming practices. Additionally, you will report to management on progress, risks, and opportunities.
