There are some NDIS changes that come into effect from today.

The NDIA may contact participants by phone, SMS, email, or letter in the mail, so it is important to keep your contact details up to date and you don’t ignore the attempts from the NDIA to contact you.

This change is part of the new NDIS laws. It’s not a ‘reviewable decision’ under the NDIS Act.

Budgets will be reduced for:

Social Economic and Community Participation
Improved Daily Living Skills

If this change affects you, your budget will only be reduced when your plan is reassessed from 1 October 2026 or renewed from 1 February 2027.

If your plan isn't due for reassessment until 1 October 2027 or later, your reassessment date will be brought forward.

The NDIS will give you 60 days' notice before they do this.

You should continue to use your plan funding as normal.

If you have high support needs, you might be able to ask the NDIS to vary your plan once you get your new plan that includes the budget reduction.

🏉 FOOTY COLOUR DAY 2026

We got the team & our participants together for a fun day in the sun down at the river — lot's of laughs with a friendly game of footy with questionable skills 😂

Most importantly, we raised money for Kids’ Cancer, which made the day even more special.

We're looking for reliable, caring people to join our team across our SIL homes & Community in the Albury/Wodonga & Benalla area.

This is a great opportunity if you’re looking for extra casual work, overnight shifts or something to fit around your current job or commitments.

What you’ll be doing:

-Supporting participants in our SIL homes &/or Community
-Providing a safe, respectful and supportive environment
-Following participant support plans and overnight routines
-Completing basic documentation and handover

We’re looking for people who are:

-Reliable and responsible
-Calm and confident working independently
-Respectful and genuinely interested in supporting people with disability
-Comfortable working overnight in a SIL environment
-Available for regular sleepover shifts

Previous disability support experience is preferred, but we’re happy to hear from the right people.
