On behalf of our client - we are seeking applications from suitably experienced Underground Safety Trainers for a position in NSW.

Reporting to the Safety & Training Superintendent, the successful applicants will be required to have a minimum of 4+ years proven background in a Safety/Training role within an underground mining environment.

These roles offer the successful candidates:
- 8/6 roster;
- Competitive salary package;
- Flights from any eastern point of hire;
- Accommodation and meals provided whilst on roster;

Responsibilities will include:

- Working in conjunction with Management to identify training needs and facilitate training HSE programs to meet demands;
- Maintain competency based training and assessment records database;
- Participating in incident investigations and risk assessments;
- Conduct site inductions and safety/toolbox meetings;
- Ensure best practice standards are maintained;

To succeed in this role you be required to have the following:

- Cert IV in Assessment & Workplace Training;
- Current Senior First Aid certificate;
- Positive and effective communication skills;
- Good organisational and time management skills;
- Solid computer literacy skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft suite packages;
