We really are fortunate in Adelaide to have such an incredible business community. Good people, doing interesting things, who come together at events like this. Thank you to the team at Showcase SA for putting on yesterday’s lunch at Mitolo Wines, and for the Mitolo team for opening the doors especially for us all and treating us to incredible food, w**e and all round great hospitality. It’s events like this that help foster our business community and create a sense of community and collaboration, that’s fun too of course 😊

Kate McRostie is our candidate of the week.

Prior to joining Stoller, Kate was responsible for the finances of five (5) manufacturing facilities, reporting to an Australian GM, as well as to an executive team in the US. Her excellent grasp on the complexities of gathering and analysing useful financial information within a manufacturing environment, building complex Excel spreadsheets from scratch, streamlining processes and procedures, restructuring financial data collection, reviewing production costs and margins, calculating labour expenses across different production processes, analysing profitability of jobs, assessing ROI on purchase of equipment, managing company expenses and negotiating supplier agreements made her an excellent skills fit; while her focus on developing talent made her a great culture fit.
