1: PRINTING OPERATOR (STACK MACHINE)

2: EXTRUDER OPERATOR

Key Job Responsibilities
• Stack Press Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor the stack printing press, including plate mounting, ink mixing/adjustment, and registration to ensure accurate, high-quality printing on plastic film.
• Extruder Operation: Load raw polymer materials, set up and adjust the extrusion line (temperature, speed, die size, cooling), and monitor the process to ensure the production of consistent, specified plastic film (thickness, width).
• Quality Control: Conduct routine quality checks on both the extruded film and the printed product (e.g., thickness, clarity, print registration, color match) and make necessary adjustments to maintain standards.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform basic preventative maintenance and identify/resolve minor operational issues, machine faults, or material defects related to both the printing and extrusion processes.
• Material Handling: Accurately track and manage raw materials (resins, inks, solvents) and finished goods, following all inventory and safety protocols.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all machine operating procedures, safety guidelines, and housekeeping standards.

RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE 🏭

The candidate must demonstrate proven experience in the following roles, ideally with a minimum of 2-5 years of direct experience in each or in a combined role:

• Stack Press Operator / Flexographic Printer:

• Experience setting up and operating multi-color stack printing presses.

• Proficiency in plate mounting, checking anilox rolls, and adjusting print registration.

• Demonstrated skill in ink mixing, color matching, and managing solvent-based or water-based ink systems.

• Experience with printing on flexible packaging materials (plastic films).

• Extruder Operator / Plastics Machine Operator:

• Experience operating single-screw or twin-screw extrusion lines (e.g., blown film or cast film).

• Proficiency in loading polymer resins and additives.

• Experience setting, monitoring, and adjusting critical process parameters like barrel and die temperatures, screw speed, haul-off speed, and air ring adjustments (for blown film).

• Knowledge of different plastic materials (e.g., HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, PP) and their processing characteristics
