Expertise in making latte art
Good in coffee brewed method(siphon, chemex, V60, French press, cold drip coffee)
Eastern and western coffee, Traditional Arabic coffee, Turkish, classic coffee.
Greeting customers and showing them to their table.
Presenting the menu to them and introducing specials for the day or new items not on the menu. You would need to be very familiar with the menu to describe items and explain some terms and ingredients to them if they have any questions.
Take their orders carefully and jot down their special requests should they have any.
Provide refills of water and beverages.
Coordinate with the kitchen on their orders and deliver them back to the customers when it’s ready.
Accommodating customers’ needs and questions.

Required Skills

Has at least 2-3yrs experience making specialty coffees
Has finished high school education.
Has excellent oral communication skills.
Must have good listening and understanding skills.
Is able to balance and carry dishes on a tray.
Can handle being on their feet for 4 hours or more.
Is a team player.
Has basic knowledge in fine dining cuisine.

To be presentable projecting positive impression of the restaurant (friendliness/excellent service).

Escorting/greeting/ introducing guests from the corridor of the mall to the restaurant.

Upon arrival of the guests informing them of their wait time, monitor a waiting list, enter guest names into the computer system.

Assisting guests to their table and bidding guests farewell as they leave.

Refilling beverages.

Performs light housekeeping duties such as cleaning glasses and menus.

Ensuring restrooms are clean, stocked, and orderly.

An energetic team member.

Answering the phone and fill to-go orders when needed.

Availability must include nights and weekends.

Accurately measuring meal ingredients for the Chef.
Preparing meal ingredients, which includes seasoning of different meats as well as washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and fruits.
Preparing basic salads and sauces as directed by the Chef.
Receiving deliveries and verifying that all ordered items have been delivered and are of good quality.
Taking inventory of restaurant supplies and notifying the supervisor of low or depleted supplies.
Discarding all expired and spoiled food items stored in the stock rooms, refrigerators, and freezers.
Performing basic cleaning duties and ensuring that workstations are properly sanitized.
Plating and presenting meal items as per the Chef’s instructions.
