Odgers Berndtson Middle East launched the 1st Programme future talent initiative in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia last year.

Odgers Berndtson's CEOx1Day has been running across 12 countries involving many of the world’s leading organizations, connecting over 500 CEOs and 21,000 student applications to date. Students from participating universities went through a rigorous recruitment process, including online assessments, one-on-one interviews with partners and consultants and a final virtual assessment which measured multiple leadership skills and potential.

We have the absolute pleasure in announcing that after our successful program launch in 2021, we are continuing the CEOx1 Day program in Saudi Arabia for 2023. Aligned with the Saudi vision 2030, we are all very excited to play a part in promoting Saudi Arabia's future leaders.

A special thanks for the enthusiasm of the Universities in Saudi Arabia that are participating, Effat University, Prince Mohammed Bin Salman College - MBSC as well as the newly participating, Alfaisal University. We would also like to thank the leaders that are participating, who will be announced soon.

As we all face challenges, Odgers Berndtson Middle East continues to push ahead with CSR initiatives. We are delighted to share our very first 2020 student finalist, Shama Almazrouei from Khalifa University, who took part in our slightly delayed CEOx1day program with Régis Schultz and Al-Futtaim. Our Partner & Head of Digital, Retail & Consumer Practice MENA, David Greenwood facilitated the introduction at Al Futtaim office in Festival Tower.

Despite these most challenging circumstances, Odgers Berndtson Middle East has concluded the selection process from screening applications and transcripts, online leadership assessment, telephone interviews and a half day of group virtual assessments. The students who emerged as our finalists have shown exemplary skills - , and skills, that made them the best of the best.

Our CEOx1Day Virtual Assessment Day is just around the corner. Good luck to our 13 semi-finalists!

This will be our last phase and we are excited to conclude our CEOx1Day Programme 2020 in somewhat unusual circumstances. Our finalists will still get the chance to shadow one of our CEOs and our CEOs will learn from our future leaders. Thanks to all for the continued support!
