This is Pratik Joshi, his wife and their three children. Pratik, a software engineer, had been living in London for last 6 years while his family lived back in India.
After years of struggles and prayers, he managed to get the papers for his wife and kids cleared and they were all set to join him in London. This is their last picture together, which they sent to a relative before the ill-fated takeoff of AI171.
This picture isn’t just of a family that tragically perished but all those dreams of a better future which they would have seen together.
Every tragedy is worth mourning over, regardless of religion, nationality or politics. Every story deserves to be heard. My heart goes out to them and everyone involved 💔 😞 🙏🙏🇱🇰💐🇮🇳
