Sᴘᴇᴄɪᴀʟɪsᴛ - Dᴀᴛᴀ Aɴᴀʟʏsᴛ ꜰᴏʀ ᴀ sᴇᴍɪ ɢᴏᴠᴇʀɴᴍᴇɴᴛ ᴇɴᴛɪᴛʏ ʙᴀsᴇᴅ ɪɴ Dᴜʙᴀɪ.
Key Accountabilities:
· Oversee the design, implementation, maintenance, security and administration of database systems by providing expert data analysis to answer critical questions that will help the leadership / business team to manage and understand the data and the trends.
· Develop complex data analysis, methodologies, and predictive data models for assessing outcomes by leading management projects that include a variety of advanced qualitative and quantitative analytic assignments
· Understand and establish business requirements by acquiring data from leadership team/ business units/ stakeholders/ primary or secondary data sources to prioritize business and information needs.
· Define and setup new processes, systems and specialist tools to extract the data needed to improve business opportunities
· Be a Subject Matter Expert in advanced data techniques, including data access, data integration, data visualization, data discovery and statistical methods.
· Identify patterns, trends in data sets and issues with data quality within databases by testing data systems and maintaining databases to make working with data more efficient
· Work with leadership / Business teams to develop reports and conduct data quality audits as required.
Minimum Qualifications and Job Specific Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in Statistics/ Math/ Economics/Data Science
· Working knowledge and understanding of reporting & data visualization tools such as Business Objects, Power BI and Tableau and databases such as SQL Server, Oracle and SAP.
· Strong mathematical & numeracy skills.
· Ability to analyze, identify trends, report, model and interpret data.
· Methodical and logical approach.
Experience:
· 4-5 years of experience in data models and reporting packages.
· Ability to analyze large datasets and write comprehensive reports
· Working knowledge of analytics tools including Google 360, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Adobe Marketing Suite is recommended.
