Job Purpose
The main purpose of the Researcher role is to compile and publish data related to company, people, product and project information He/she will be helping grow our qualitative research business to ensure we are delivering market leading research on the interior design industry.
Role & Responsibilities
The Researcher is an organized and diligent self-starter and will be responsible to execute research campaigns for the assigned products and services. The role includes all activities of the complete research cycle from developing lists of potential research accounts, designing research instruments, to executing information gathering activities and publishing related research findings.
The operational responsibilities of this position include:
Account Management
• Generate research account leads from sources (online, print and industry associations) to develop and maintain an updated research database of key interior organizations.
• Travel and meet with potential partners or clients and build relationships with companies.
• Liaise with assigned accounts at least once per 30 days to update any new information that is available.
• Promote continuous engagement with the client and team, supporting knowledge-sharing, skills and development.
Execute Research and Schedule Publication
• Be responsible for Love That Design databases Create and execute research and marketing campaigns targeting companies in the database to either list their projects, companies, people profiles and/or products.
• Create records for publication on their respective website following the appropriate publication guidelines.
• Make strategies and plans for the research team on a daily basis and review the outcome and set KPIs.
• Research advanced trends and technologies in the interior industry to widen the audience range.
• Work with the team and product or project contributors to ensure high - quality standards are met in the content.
• Achieve set KPI’s including number of effective calls and number of outbound calls made.
Engagement
• Engage clients and the wider industry to gather product feedback.
• Deal with all customer queries regarding published content.
• Broaden with engagement to increase the demographic presence.
• Effectively represent the organization at events, exhibitions, conferences, etc. as assigned
Forecasting & Reporting
• Maintain accurate records of all research activities and fill out all day to day interaction in the internal management system
Requirements:
• Basic Image editing skills using Photoshop or similar programs Native level oral and written communication and presentation skills in English are required.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills to deal with a large number of calls and emails on a daily basis.
• Should be proficient in the use of Google Apps, Office applications and internet technologies Effective interpersonal and communication skills - ability to build relationships and influence others.
• Confident dealing with clients.
• Willingness to travel often.
• Exceptional attention to details whilst being creative, innovative and analytical.
• Ability to work creatively with a commercial approach.
